RARE AUSTRALIAN WW2 ISSUED BRASS HANDLED KNUCKLEDUSTER KNIFE BY GREGSTEEL
This is the second version of Knuckleduster knives having been produced by the Australian knife maker GREGSTEEL during WW2. Manufactured in small batches they were essentially issued to Special Forces units and certain missions for close-quarters combat especially the famous Australian 'Z' special unit.
This example is unmarked (normal) and comes with its original leather scabbard. I have provided images from the book 'Australian and New Zealand Cutlers and Cutlery 1788-1988' which is referred to as the bible on Australian and NZ fighting knives.
Yes its not cheap but it is rare, desirable and hard to find anywhere and prices have soared over the years and will continue to do so. "Todays high price is tommorow's cheap price".
