WW2 RAAF PILOTS ESCAPE MACHETTE
These escape machettes were issued to RAAF pilots to enable them to smash their way out of cockpits and canopies if they were shot down and trapped in the wreckage. This example comes in its original issued scabbard and still has the tie down straps and buckles. the blade could do with a clean. It is an honest un-messed with item.
