WW2 PERIOD JAPANESE KATANA IN CIVILIAN MOUNTS.

This Katana is a WW2 Military blade in civilian mounts. Some swords were made like this as Officers I'ADO swords. The Tang has been translated by Mr George Trotter one of the leading experts on Japanese swords here in Western Australia. The Tang inscription has a Sho Stamp and reads Sho Shin Shi (Art name) Fuku Moto (Makers Family Name) Kane Mune (Makers Art Name) Saku (made this). This is an exceptionally nice sword with a black scabbard and perfect wrap to the handle. Well priced.
