    WW2 JAPANESE ARMY SIGNAL BUGLE

Brass Japanese signal bugle. Used during WW2 to communicate on the battlefield, the famous Banzai charges were preceded with a bugle call. This is a text book example of a Japanese bugle as shown in page 81 of the book by Agustin Saiz "HEITAI" which is known as the bible of Japanese soldiers uniforms and equipment.

The bugle is showing field use with minor dings and dents as shown in the images. The mouth piece and captive chain is still present but the lug that tightens the mouth piece when it is in position is missing.
