WW2 GERMAN LUFTWAFFE PARATROOPERS/PILOTS WATCH BY ZENTRA
During WW2 the German armed forces issued watches to its soldiers. There were many watch makers throughout Europe who were contracted to make watches. All watches had a serial number stamped in the back cover that was prefixed with a letter. The letter prefixed on this watch is D denoting its issue to the Luftwaffe Officers, Flight Crews and Paratroopers. Further confirmed by the colour of its original watch strap in Brown (Army and SS was Black).
The watch was serviced in 2019 by the last owner at a cost of $200 and the receipt will be supplied to the new owner. The watch has a wind up mechanism and works perfectly.
