WW2 GERMAN K98 BAYONET MATCHING ISSUE NUMBERS
A very nice example of an early war issue K98 bayonet. Maker marked to Horster and date 1938 to the scabbard top and the bayonet blade. Matching numbers 5652 to both the scabbard and bayonet blade. Correct Wood handles for early issue bayonets. Double waffen amt stampings to the handle top and press stud bayonet fitting. nice blade with 90% of the bluing still present. No dents to the scabard with 80% of bluing still remaining. Graze to the handle as shown in images. Blade has been oiled during storage of the last owner.
This is the best K98 bayonet I have seen for ages.
