WW2 GERMAN HITLER YOUTH KNIFE, RARE STAG HANDLE GRIP VARIANT BY SMF WITH INSCRIPTION
Text book example of a Hitler youth knife. Rare variant with the stag handle grips. Maker marked to SMF SOLINGEN (Solinger Metallwaffenfabrik) ,with the rare "Blut Und Ehre" inscription to the other side. Minor plate loss to the handle. Black chequered Stag handles are perfect. Leaher buffer pad still remains. Scabbard is in very good condition showing only minor paint loss.
Hitler Youth knives are highly collectable and prices are rising consitently. Text book examples such as this early one with Stag Horn grips and an inscribed blade are almost impossibel to get in this condition.
