WW2 GERMAN ARMY SOLDIERS MESS CANTEEN EARLY PATTERN.
This is the early pattern WW2 German soldiers mess canteen. Identical in looks to the WW1 pattern it differs in that it is made of aluminum. Later in WW2 the Germans reduced the size of the canteens. This mess canteen is dated 1935 and has nice clear makers marks to Bayer and Co in Baden.
