WW1 WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ISSUED 5 POCKET LEATHER AMMUNITION BANDOLEER.-SOLD
This is an interesting 5 pocket leather bandoleer. The front near the buckle shows a London maker mark and is stamp dated 1904. The rear shows numerous clearly stamped markings such as AGA (Australian Garrison Artillery), AIR (Australian Infantry Regiment), WAIR (Western Australian Infantry Regiment), and CMF (Citizens Military Forces).
This is a niece piece of Western Australian Infantry history that just needs a good clean and polish.
