WW1 TURKISH OFFICERS SWORD ENGRAVED BLADE
Local pick up here in WA is this WW1 Turkish Officers sword. Brass handle fittings with the Turkish Crescent cast into the langet, the wooden handle has no chips or cracks. Nickel scabbard with a couple of dents that were period made to stop the sword rattling inside the scabbard.Nice engraving to the bright blade that has a wear mark near the tip, the engraving also displays the Turkish Crescent to one panel.
These Turkish Officers swords are getting rarer and nearly all of the ones found inside Australia were veteran bring backs from WW1.
