Offered here is a rarely seen Lord Kitchener Doll. Such was the popularity of Lord Kitchener that a doll was produced for sale during WW1. There are very few surviving dolls on the market today and this one is the first that I have seen in many years.
This doll is in good condition for its age however has some imperfections most of which can be fixed with some TLC. The back belt strap is broken, there is some damage to his peak hat and the stitching has come loose on his pocket as shown in the images. This is a great item that will appreciate with age and one for the serious Boer War/WW1 collector.
