WW1 GERMAN M17 HELMET WITH BULLET HOLE
Interesting WW1 German M17 helmet in that it has a bullet hole on the right side of the helmet, its position indicates that the wearer would not have survived such a shot. Original throughout. The 3 pad liner is still present but is not in good condition and showing its 100 year plus age.
Good example of a combat worn German helmet with fatal result.
