WW1 BRITISH OFFICERS FIGHTING KNIFE. This knife came from the family it was used in WW1 by a deceased relative who was an officer in the British Army during WW1. It is most unusual in that it has its original scabbard and seems that it was privately commissioned for the purpose. Handle is turned wood with a brass crossguard, sheath is leather and is in excellent condition. The blade is marked on one side "ENCORE" Thomas Turner@co Cutlers to Her Majesty and Sheffield England.
