The V44 Bowie knife was produced in WW2 by several companies, this example was produced by Collins & Co which is stamped on the blade. This example has the more desirous green horn handle that does show any cracks or splits. This also has its original tooled leather scabbard which is showing signs of wear to the scabbard tip.
