RARE WW2 JAPANESE TYPE 30 REAR AMMO POUCH WITH OILER BOTTLE

Standard issue, model 30 (1897) rear ammunition pouch as used by the Japanese army throughout the war. Pouch is approximately 17.5cm x 9.5cm x 7.5cm. Dual pocket, brown leather pouch originally would have held sixty rounds of 7.7mm ammunition, for a total of thirty rounds. The stitched hinge top flap is secured by a horizontal closure strap, with a stud hole passing through a stitched-on loop and mating with studs. There are two stitched-on vertical belt loops to the reverse of the pouch. The interior is separated into two compartments by a thick leather divider. Stamped kanji markings on the top of the original oiler bottle. All the original straps for the oil bottle are still in place.

These rear ammo pouches are very hard to find and expensive when you do.
