PATTERN 1871 1st DRAGOON GUARDS HELMET WITH RED PLUME
A Rare Victorian period 1871 Pattern British Cavalry helmet of the "1st Dragoon Guards". Large Helmet plate badge with the "1" in the centre and the motto around the edge "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense". Complete with its original leather liner, its horse-hair plume and set of brass chin scales. A couple of minor dents commensurate with its age that do not detract from its appearance.
