PAIR OF LATE VICTORIAN BRASS AND CAST IRON ORNAMENTAL SIGNAL CANNONS
Circa 1890 (late Victorian period). Pair of Chinese brass ornamental signal cannons on cast-iron carriages. Each with solid brass 15-inch tilting barrel resting on a scrolled dragon frame above working wheels. Height 9 inches. Length 17.5 inches. Width 6.5 inches.
These were purchased locally here in WA with the previous owner paying the equivalent of $US2000 in the UK for these cannons.
