MILITARY WATCH IWC (INTERNATIONAL WATCH COMPANY)
IWC is famous for its watches that contain Swiss movements such as Omega and command high prices. This watch is a military watch and there is some confusion with dealers trying to sell them as Vietnam issue watches which is untrue as the US government issued Hamilton watches to its troops. This watch was issued to British or Australian troops during the 60s as it is stamped with the Broad Arrow stamp. 24 hour dial, watch appears to be over-wound. Incidentally the W.W.W. stamping on the back stands for Wrist Watch Waterproof.
