AUSTRIAN M1853/1899 PIONEERS SIDEARM was issued to technical troops and was designed for the purposes of clearing woodland and creating fascines. The size of this sidearm made an intimidating weapon.
This example is in excellent condition for its age. It has a wooden handle and has a bright clean blade. Comes with its original leather steel tipped scabbard also in excellent condition. It has matching issue numbers on the scabbard and the crossguard.
