M1898 Seitengewehr (S 98 nA) 2nd Pattern Dress Bayonet - "Private Purchase". Nickel plated overall by Eickhorn & Co Soligen. Experimental Vulcanised fibre scabbard by Mertens with nickelled locket and chape. Full length pipe back blade. Wooden grips in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. An excellent variation and example of this bayonet, hard to beat.
