    HAMILTON WRIST WATCH VIETNAM WAR PERIOD. In the mid 60's the Australian Army moved away from supplying its NCO's and Officers watches purchased from the British Military to the US General Purpose (GP) wristwatch made by Hamilton watches. The watch consisted of a waterproof, monobloc case which contained a 7 jeweled, stem winding, non-magnetic, incabloc movement having a 12 and 24 hour graduated black dial with luminous markings from 1 to 12 only. The hour, minute and sweep second hands are luminous. This example is clearly marked and in working order.
