This knife has a cutlery style handle that was made famous by the American Gamblers knives. It has an S shaped cross guard that has a very slight movement to it. The blade is typical fighting knife shape. The knife comes with its original scabbard which was designed to slip into a boot, trouser belt or an inside pocket. Bothe the scabbard and the knife blade are clearly marked to C. SCHLEIPER SOLINGEN who traded under the GERMAN EYE BRAND. Apart from the blade needing a clean and polish this is a nicely made and marked German boot knife with its original scabbard.
