COLD WAR ERA EAST GERMAN DDR GENERALS CASED DAGGER, HANGERS AND EMBELLISHMENT SET.
Mint unused cased dagger, hangers and embellishment set for a General Major (Major General) of the Cold War Era East German Army of the Deutsche Democratic Republic (DDR) which was formed by the Russian Communist Party to Govern the divided Germany. The DDR was Communist East Germany whilst the Democratic West Germany was controlled by the West German government. The DDR ceased to exist when Germany was re-united on the 03 October 1990 to form part of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The set contains the following:
Generals double edged Dagger with Brass fittings to represent the Gold General level numbered 03542. the handle made from Ivory coloured plastic with acorns to the Cross Guard;
An excellent blued scabbard also with brass fittings to represent the Gold General level;
Set of Deluxe Generals dagger hangers also with Gold coloured fittings;
Gold coloured Generals Cap cord;
Pair of Generals epualettes with one star for each epualette represent the rank of Major General; and
Pair of General rank collar patches in felt and Gold bullion.
All this in a Red Faux leather case. Nice to get a set as complete as this.
