This slouch hat is clearly maker marked to Fairfield Melbourne and dated 1971 size 7 which puts it as a Vietnam war era issued Slouch Hat. The hat is in excellent condition and is complete with its Pugaree and chin strap, Royal Australian Engineers (RAE) badge to the side.
