AMERICAN UNDERHAMMER BOOT/POCKET PISTOL BY A. RUGGLES STAFFORD, CT. MARKED E. HUTCHINGS, AGENTS BALTIMORE
This is an interesting boot or pocket pistol. Picked up locally here in WA this pistol has Tiger Stripe Wood grips. Serial number 166 and Maker marked to A. Ruggles and disitributor marks to E. Hutchings Baltimore. It was made circa 1854.
It is a percussion pistol with an under-hammer action. There is no license requirement in Western Australia however please check with your local Firearms Authority if you are interested and from another state or country if it is legal to own.
