5TH LIGHT HORSE SLOUCH HAT MILITIA PERIOD
As far as slouch hats go this one is in very good condition as there are no visible moth nips. Rexon-leather sweat band has faint date stamp of 1939. The 5th Light Horse hat badge is of the 30-42 period and is original to the hat as there are no other badge holes present. Pugaree is of the period. Note the side is not attached with a press stud which was common with WW2 issue slouch hats. Emu plumes present. This is a really nice slouch hat.
