Offered for sale is an excellent set of World War II British Royal Navy–issued Barr & Stroud large binoculars, dating to circa 1940. The binoculars are accompanied by their original case.
The binoculars remain in fine, original, and unmolested condition, retaining their original leather strap and leather eyepiece covers. The lenses are excellent, providing clear and bright optics.
This complete set is a good wartime example, as issued to RN and RAN surface warships and submarines during the Second World War.
