BRITISH ARMED FORCES MOD ISSUED WATCH BY HAMILTON
This is an Ministry Of Defence issued wrist watch by Hamilton.
Movement – the 17 Jewel, calibre 270 manual wind movement with the hacking seconds.
The movement comes in a mono block case. The case has a Military Broad Arrow on the face and also engraved onto the back and is numbered 523-8290.W10-6645-99. 060 12/73. The case has some light marks
The black dial has a sweep centre seconds hand and is signed “Hamilton" and T within a circle, for the tritium lume on the hands and numbers. The dial is in excellent condition but the luminous paint on the hands and numbers is no longer luminous
The watch measures 41mm x 35mm x 10mm. The watch has a plastic glass. The watch comes with a minus a strap.
When I first got this watch it appeared to be not working, whenn I tapped it with my hand the watch started working and has not stopped in the last two hours, however the watch will be sold as a non worker with no guarantees.
