AUSTRALIAN PRE-FEDERATION NEW SOUTH WALES PISTOL HOLSTER.
This holster is complete and in good condition for its age with supple leather. It has a makers mark on the belt loop which is hard to read. When you open the flap it is clearly stamped NSWG which was the New South Wales Government issue stamp Pre-Federation. At that stage each state of Australia was responsible for raising and maintaining its own Army. After Federation it became the responsibility of the Commonwealth Government.
