18th CENTURY ARAB/INDO-PERSIAN POWDER HORN
Measuring approximately 300mm this powder horn dates from the 18th century and comes from the Arab or the Indo-Persian region.
Made of brass and is heavily carved in relief. It has its original wooden stopper and is loaded with gunpowder through the stopper end. The powder horns of that era were highly decorated to show the importance of the owner and this powder horn is no exception.
