WW2 GERMAN M1933 FIRST PATTERN NSKK DAGGER RARE MAKER "SPIZER"
This is a 1933 First Pattern NSKK dagger maker marked on the blade to the rare maker "GUSTAV SPIZER SOLINGEN" who only produced 9000 daggers from 1933 to the end of WW2. Marked on the cross guard SW indicating it was issued to the NSKK-Gau SouthWest.
Condition is good however there are a couple of marks on the blade (as shown in the images) that do not detract from its appearance and desirability.
These daggers can no longer be imported into Australia and are getting hard to find with prices reaching over $2000 in military auctions. This is a good oportunity to get and early issued dagger by a rare maker at a reasonable price.
