WW2 GERMAN KREIGSMARINE OFFICERS DAGGER BY EIKHORN
This Kriegsmarine officers dagger is in very good conditioned and is maker marked to one of the best known quality makers of Karl Eikhorn. Both sides of the blade are engraved with a floral design incorporating the fouled anchor. The blade is clean and bright with the usual runner marks. The handle is a cream colour with no cracks or splits and still has the brass wire wrap intact. The scabbard is of the lightning bolt type with a couple of hardly noticeable minor dents.
As we know you can no longer import these daggers to Australia and this makes them rare for new collectors coming onto the market. Prices are rising for good daggers especially ones made by Eikhorn.
