WW2 AUSTRALIAN STILETTO KNIFE BY GREGSTEEL PRESENTED TO LT CHARLES DUNCAN 2/7 AUSTRALIAN CAV (COMMANDO) REGT

Purchased here in WA this stiletto fighting knife was a presentation to Lt Charles Duncan Campbell who served during WW2 in the Australian 2/7 Cav (Commando) Regiment. The knife had been chrome plated before being presented to him and comes in a wooden presentation box that was made later. The scabbard has Lt Campbells name on the back and it comes with an original R.G. BROWN scabbard dated 1943 and D^D stamped in excellent condition and on its own is worth $400-$500 in its own.

The price I am asking for this Gregsteel Knife is what you would normally pay just for the knife on its own however this knife has provenance and comes with a correct spare scabbard. Further research on the service of Lt Campbell is warranted by the next owner

    $2,850.00
