WW2 JAPANESE HELMET CASUALTY/KIA
This WW2 Japanese helmet was a recent find in Victoria. It has a bullet entry hole to the front of the helmet and the bullet exit hole at the rear of the helmet. The liner which is still there has been damaged by the bullet when it entered and exited the helmet. The wearer of this helmet would have ended up a KIA. The helmet is totally original. There is no chin strap cord. This is most certainly a conversation piece within your collection and a reminder of the combat casualties of WW2.
