WW2 GERMAN M40 DOUBLE DECAL LUFTWAFFE HELMET
This helmet originally started out as a Army issued helmet due to its green interior Army Green colour and then re-issued to the Luftwaffe. The exterior is Luftwaffe blue and has both the Tricolour shield and the Luftwaffe eagle decals to each side, both rate at approximately 60%. The liner is in good condition and the chinstrap is still present. Maker marked ET and sized 66 to the side skirt and the batch number 1851 to the rear of the skirt. Double decal WW2 German helmets are commanding high prices both in Europe and the US with values well over the two thousand dollar mark.
