Good Imperial German 1916 Jager zu Pferde enlisted ranks lobster tail helmet. Standard Imperial Prussian line eagle helmet plate. Maker marked to Schulz & Holderfleiss, a prominent Berlin-based military uniform and helmet contractor that frequently stamped WWI Imperial German Jäger zu Pferde(Mounted Rifle/Cavalry) lobster-tail helmets and dated 1916 to the inside of the crown. Helmet has Grey metal fittings. One of the rivets has been period replaced to the tail section. Complete with its correct pattern chin strap and cockades. Has original leather lining that is in very good condition considering its age. Overall a lovely example of this scarce Imperial German lobster tail helmet.
