CHANNEL ISLANDS OCCUPATION SOUVENIER PAINTED RELIC GERMAN HELMET
The military occupation of the Channel Islands by Nazi Germany lasted for most of the Second World War, from 30 June 1940 until liberation on 9 May 1945.
This helmet was a souvenIer from the Channel Islands and was period painted when the Germans first occupied the Channel Islands then left in a barn until recently (so I am told).
