WW2 GERMAN CASED CZECH ANNEXATION (SUDETENLAND) MEDAL WITH PRAGUE BAR

    HISTORY

The WW2 German medal for Czech annexation is the

SUDETENLAND MEDAL (Commemorative Medal of 1 October 1938), awarded for the seizure of the Sudetenland, with the "bar" being the Prague Castle Bar, added for participation in the later occupation of the rest of Czechoslovakia in March 1939, marking Germany's broader takeover of Czech lands. These medals, part of the "Flower Wars" series, commemorated successive annexations of territories with German populations, with the Prague Bar signifying involvement in the subsequent creation of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.

    ITEM DESCRIPTION
