WW1 GERMAN IRON CROSS FIRST CLASS.
The first class medal was for award to personnel who performed three to five acts of bravery in combat and had already been awarded the Iron Cross 2ND class.
This cross is in 800 marked silver and is vaulted. Two piece screw back. The Black centre seems to have a krackel finish or has been affected by wearing in the field, either way it looks great.
