    WW2 GERMAN KENKARTE AND FUHRERSCHEIN

The Kennkarte was a standardized, police-issued identity card introduced by the Nazi regime in July 1938 . Mandatory for all German nationals aged 15 and older, it featured the bearer's photograph, fingerprints, physical description, and residence information.

During World War II, a German soldier's military driver's license was known as a Wehrmacht-Führerschein. These licenses were specifically used to authorize military personnel (such as Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS) to operate state vehicles. They were printed on durable materials like grey or blue oilcloth. This example has had the photo removed more than likely at the end of WW2 to conceal an identity.
