HISTORY
The Deutsches Jungvolk in der Hitler Jugend (DJ or DJV) was the junior section of the Hitler Youth for German boys aged 10 to 14. Established in 1928, it became a compulsory state agency in 1939 to indoctrinate youth in Nazi ideology through military-style training, outdoor activities, and racial theory before they transitioned to the main Hitler Youth at age 14
