WW1 BRITISH/AUSTRALIAN LIGHT HORSE/CAVALRY 9 POCKET BANDOLEER
As opposed to the standard infantry and artillery 5 pocket ammunition bandoleers the 9 pocket bandoleer were issued to all Commonwealth Cavalry and Light horse units and was especially the standard for Australian Light Horse troops.
This example is not maker marked and is more that likely used by a Light Horse unit as it was purchased here in WA. The bandoleer is complete and in good condition considering its age with the usual curling up of the ammo pouches tongues curling up (common). No rips or tears to the ammo pouches.
