    WW2 GERMAN 2ND MODEL RLB ENLISTED MANS DAGGER

    The Reichsluftschutzbund or RLB was the official air raid protection group for the state. It was established by Air Minister, Hermann Göring in 1935. RLB groups were kept busy training the German population for civil defense. Beginning in 1936, enlisted members of this organization were issued a dagger.

    Description

    Blade maker marked to E. & F. HORSTER SOLINGEN. In and out wear marks to the tip of the blade. Ebony handle is without cracks or chips Nickel silver plate is showing wear to the scabbard chape and  the crossguard eagle and the pommel cap. The paint to the scabbard is worn due to use.

    You dont often see RLB daggers for sale and whilst this example has certainly been used it represents well and is also well priced.
