WW1 TURKISH ERZATZ BAYONET 1917
As WW1 progressed the German Army which was short of supply started modifying and re-cycle their bayonets to cut down on production costs. They also supplied then Turkish Army with theese modified weapons known as Ersatz bayonets. Many different models were made and they have become a unique niche in bayonet collecting and are relatively cheap to collect however prices are rising. This example is a standard German/Turkish Ersatz bayonet known as the 1917 model.
