WW1 GERMAN 98/05 BUTCHER BLADE SAWBACK BAYONET WITH ORIGINAL FROG
This sawback presents really well and has its original frog dated 1916. Unmarked example with the issue stamps to the spine of the blade dating 1917. Clean blade showing signs of field use. Good condition wood grips with no chips or cracks.
The sawback versions of the 98/05 bayonets are now extremely hard to find with some dealers asking between $800-$1100, this example represents good value at $750.
