TURKISH ERZATZ BAYONET 1935 SERIES
As WW1 progressed the German Army which was short of supply started modifying and re-cycle their bayonets to cut down on production costs. They also supplied thenTurkish Army with theese modified weapons known as Ersatz bayonets which continued to produce Erzatz bayonet into WW2. Many different models were made and they have become a unique niche in bayonet collecting. This example is a standard Turkish Ersatz 1935 series bayonet.
