WW2 REFURBISHED AUSTRALIAN ISSUED BAYONET FOR THE 303 RIFLE. d
This bayonet is maker marked to The Wilkinson Sword Company and was first issued in 1914. It was then refurbished at the Lithgow factory at Orange Arsenal for issue during WW2 with a date stamp for 1943 and the scabbard stamped with O/A for Orange Arsenal. Nice clean bayonet.
