WW2 GERMAN SS ZELTBAHN/PONCHO
This Zeltbahn, or German shelter quarter, was issued to SS troops during World War II. Made out of camouflage material, this Zeltbahn is fully reversible with summer and autumn colors. It is made of a water repellent material which is imprinted with "plane tree" camouflage pattern that matched the troops' parkas/anoraks. Similar examples pictured and described in the book "Camouflage Uniforms of the Waffen-SS" by Beaver.
This example has all the steel buttons present, there are a couple of wear holes here and there but presents excellently, comes with two mismatched leather carrying straps.
