    WW2 GERMAN FOCKE-WULF 190 CRASHED FIGHTER RELIC EXHAUST VALVE

    This relic exhaust valve came from Focke-Wulf 190 A-1 Werk No 10036 which served with JG/26.

    On the 13 July 1942 Spitfires of 616 Sqn were patrolling at 20,000 feet over Northern France when the FW 190 was spotted at 16,000 feet, Sqn Ldr Tony Gaze and his wing-man broke off, intercepted and shot it down. The FW 190 crashed north of Abbyville.

    This relic came from a collection of WW2 crashed relic parts.
