WW2 AUSTRALIAN/NZ/USA FIGHTING KNIFE.
These knives were made in New Zealand during WW2 and were issued to Australian, New Zealand and US troops during the Pacific war.
This variety came in three styles they were 1. Knife with knuckle guard, 2. Knife without knuckle guard and 3. Knife with knuckle guard removed.
This is a knife without knuckle guard, I also have a knife with knuckle guard removed for sale on this site.
This knife has the makers name to the blade of NZ CUTLERS Co AUCKLAND.
It also has the original owners name of GEORGE W. BEHRENS stamped on the handle.
Complete with a scabbard.
